Chelsea Domenica’s journey with music is defined not by shortcuts, but by persistence and by the places, cultures, and experiences her voice has carried her into.
Her path began early. As a teenager in the Netherlands, Chelsea appeared in national newspapers and stepped onto professional stages at a young age. Growing up in a deeply musical family, she was surrounded by sound from the beginning and felt an undeniable pull toward rhythm and voice. Before reaching adulthood, she was already performing alongside established Dutch artists and broadcasters, and at seventeen she signed her first record deal.
In 2009, at just nineteen years old, Chelsea performed her debut single Give for an audience of 45,000 people during the closing show of Extrema Outdoor Festival. One week later, the song entered the Dutch Single Top 100 at number one, a defining moment that marked her early presence in the music industry.
Rather than following a predictable rise, Chelsea’s journey unfolded through experience. She continued working in studios with professional producers, performing internationally, and learning what it truly means to sustain a life in music. Her performances took her across Europe and beyond from festivals and clubs in Spain, to summers performing in Turkey, to exclusive private settings in the Mediterranean.
She sang aboard superyachts, performed in large nightclubs in India, and traveled to countries such as Norway, where she played at official afterparties following major international concerts. Music became her passport offering access to places, cultures, and moments she could never have planned.
One particularly formative experience took place during a festival in Spain, where Chelsea was booked on the same lineup as producer Guru Josh. Over dinner before the show, he shared the story behind Infinity, how his creative choices were once questioned and even laughed at, only for the song to become a timeless classic. That conversation stayed with her, reinforcing a belief she would carry throughout her career: staying true to creative intuition matters more than external approval.
After years of performing, Chelsea stepped outside the familiar and traveled through Australia for nearly a year. There, she began DJing in Sydney, a turning point that reshaped her artistic identity. It was during this period that she naturally started blending electronic music with live vocals, discovering a sound that felt instinctive, expressive, and deeply her own.
This evolution eventually led her to Ibiza, the island where everything converged. On Ibiza, Chelsea found the freedom to fully integrate her voice, musical intuition, and sense of presence. She became a resident at several well-known beach clubs, performing melodic beach house, deep house, and lounge sets where her voice became an instrument woven seamlessly into the music itself.
Over time, another dimension of her artistry emerged. Rooted in early exposure to healing practices and a lifelong sensitivity to energy, Chelsea began exploring the voice as a tool for restoration and connection. This led to the creation of voice healing ceremonies, collective singing experiences, and music facilitation sessions, spaces where sound becomes participatory, grounding, and deeply human.
Today, Chelsea Domenica works internationally as a vocalist, DJ, voice healer, and music facilitator. She performs worldwide, guides ceremonies and retreats, leads interactive musical experiences, and teaches music to both children and adults, all while remaining fully independent in her creative direction.
Her story is not about status or spectacle. It is about devotion, resilience, and choosing authenticity again and again. Music has taken her far, not only across the world, but deeper into herself, and she continues to walk her path with presence, courage, and an unwavering belief in staying true.
